Be protective of your social profiles, especially if you’re the type of person who shares personal information on Twitter or Facebook—and even more so if you complain about your boss, make negative or derogatory statements, or post anything that you wouldn’t want brought up during a job interview.

A significant part of the LinkedIn profile is the summary section. To get the most out of your summary . This part will take time if you aren’t a wordsmith so don’t be surprised or get discouraged if it takes you a couple of days to come up with compelling verbiage.
